Can I use built-in OSX Software Update with PT8 and 10.5.8?
I recently upgraded to PT8 and OSX 10.5.8 Leopard. I know that I can't update the OS using the OSX automatic Software Update. I had a lot of trouble with PT7 and OSX Tiger using it for updates of other software like iTunes and Safari. I would often have to re-install PT or the OS. With OSX 10.5.8 and PT8 can I use the OSX Software Update to update things like iTunes, Safari, Airport, Java, and Security updates?
