I had this problem again and unplugging/replugging my sound card did not solve the problem. It was a coincidence I think. By the way, I realized that this bug only happens when I put PT on my second screen. As soon as I put PT back on my main screen (that of my laptop) I no longer have this bug. Do you use a 2nd screen?

That's interesting. I'll have to try that ... I do use two screens and for the longest time there was a bug using two screens, one on top of the other, with seeing all of the Waves plugins. They fixed that after a number of months and submissions to tech support.

I will tell you I have talked to tech support on this issue, and they're aware of the problem. They assured me they are working on it and will have it fixed in an upcoming update. I will tell you that if you put the mode into SHUFFLE, you can drag it into the file, but you'll have to move it to where you want it afterward.
