Compensation for I/O delays...
...after record pass doesn't stick here. Why? I've checked them both and exported the settings multiple times, and they always come up unchecked in every new session.

I have this behaviour too. I've tried exporting my settings with these enabled and still these default to off. I just simply got into the habit of resetting them with any brand new sessions. I think these will also get binned if you want to trash your DAE Prefs folder to force PT to rescan for new plugins added. I think. YMMV. Cheers Steve Bush www.music180.com/pros/5887
