Sync I/O delays

Hi,
i recorded sound on Beta SP than moved the project to another studio. This studio has HD 3 on G5 2.0 with sync I/O. Beta recorder is the same. When i align the same project to the same beta i have 2 frames difference. Sound on Beta is later. In stop TC on Beta and PT is perfectly the same. I tried both tc from Beta and via 9pin. No offset in session setup
am i missing something?

Been a while since I worked with SP, but could monitoring with the CONFI head create the offset? Just throwing out my first (and only) thought....

Did you check the machine control profile to make sure that there wasn't an offset? That burned me once.

2 frames? sounds like a black burst termination problem.

Where i can find offset in Machine control profile? In session setup window there is no offset
i tried with blackburst, with internal- same result. I do not have a drift. It definitely looks like offset while playing.

Is the Video reference on the machine terminated? There should be a switch
under the B&C input. I think it says 75 ohms. I had a similar problem when a short lived assistant tried to hook their camcorder up to my Beat SP machine and didn't bother to test it before my session the next day.

I think it's in the setup menu under "Machine track Arming Profiles".

There is also the "External Time Code offset" menu also under setup. Check there too.
