Recommendations anyone for quick/cheap way to export a QT movie to VHS?
I have an immediate need to score a commercial for my first time. I bought an xlr8 interview to capture ($80). I scored the spot in PTle and now I need to export the resulting QT movie to VHS.
Can anyone recommend a method to do this cheaply? thanx in advance: [email protected] mark |

USB would not be my first choice for video I/O, but on the cheap...
http://www.eskapelabs.com/prodmyvideo.htm If you have a CDR burner you might consider sending the product out on a CDROM, that is if the client can handle it. For $29 USD, you can upgrade to Quicktime Pro and export your file ready for CDROM's. Take a look at the Apple Product Guide under the "Hardware" catagory, there you will find FireWire A/V devices as well as the USB ones. http://guide.apple.com/usindex.lasso I have a PowerR Directors Cut, it's a FireWire A/V interface; I use Quicktime Pro to convert file from Quicktime to DV, then iMovie to export out via FireWire to a analog deck. It's very easy and all for less than $325 total! Cheers! |
