Default \'Latch\' Talkback Mode

We're generally happy with the Icon here. Been up and running for almost a month now with no major problems encountered (Pro Tools v6.7 seems to have a few quirks, though).

One point of contention is the latch talkback mode i.e. if talkback button is pressed twice, talkback channel stays open when button is released. Can't really see the benefit in this. Clients do not always want the artist in the booth to hear what they say - especially if it's criticism about their lack of professionalism, etc! Could lead to a very uncomfortable situation...

Does anyone know if it's possible to disable 'Latch' mode, so talkback channel always closes when the button is released?

Ha. I had the same thing happen to me. We totally ripped apart a singer as she sat there and listened to every word we said. She did not appreciate the constructive criticism. That's what you get when you let and A&R guy touch the console.
