MTC / sync help problems

I have managed to get Pro tools 8 LE on macbook pro sync to another macbook running PT8 via MTC

but there is a lag or delay in playback and cant find a way to get them to work together in time is there a way to fix this ?

I am running PT8 LE o a macbook pro with 003 rack ...

I have connected midi out into a midi interface going into another
macbook with an mbox mini ...also running PT 8 LE

I am hoping to sync the 2 pro tools systems together to increase track count

MTC works and i can start or stop whichever machine but they machine slaving seems to be a second or so out of time ...

whatever setting i change it doesnt seem to wanna line up perfectly ..

Is there a way to connect 2 pro tools systems togetehr smoothtly and accurately

No. You cannot use two interfaces together to increase track count.
