Bypassed plugins still introducing latency delay in template [solved]
Hi everyone.
I'm working on a group of songs, and want to keep pretty much all track, plugins, and plugin settings between them, so I created a Template from the first song. When starting a new session from the template, even with all plugins and sends bypassed, I'm still getting a bunch of delay and compensation on the tracks. This makes initial tracking a pain because of the latency. How do I get around this?

Re: Bypassed plugins still introducing latency delay in template
This is normal for most plugins, activate delay compensation for your sessions and it won't be a problem.

Re: Bypassed plugins still introducing latency delay in template
plugins , also dsp , produce always latency while in bypass , for automation reasons f.e. , onliest way to reduce latency from plugins which are not needed , is to make them INACTIVE instead of bypass , but this is not
automatable , makes sense because you would have to deal with constant changing buffersizes and latencies and all its bad symptoms.

Re: Bypassed plugins still introducing latency delay in template
yes, delay is normal when bypassed, you can make the plugins inactive instead.
