Track not in sync after inserting plugin
Appreciate help as to why this happens. For example I inserted a
Waves Supertap on the lead vocal track, and now its not in time with the mix. I also have a compressor & reverb inserted on the vocal buss as well. Thanks, Steve |

Re: Track not in sync after inserting plugin
Supertap has a lot of processing latency and will delay your track... are you using ADC? (PT HD only) If you are recording with Supertap then you should ditch the plug till mixdown... if you are LE then you are in the wrong forum...

HD1 - This is happening during mixdown.
Not sure what ADC is? Analog Digital Conversion? |

Re: Track not in sync after inserting plugin
In this context ADC means Automatic Delay Compensation.
Kind regards Mark

Re: Track not in sync after inserting plugin
Quote:
ADC is also effected by your hardware buffer settings! (in playback engine settings) The higher the buffer setting the longer the delay caused by plugins!! (but this setting can give you more RTAS performance) Reducing the buffer gives you lower delay readings on your plugins, but can cause playback glitching if the buffer is set too small. Chris
