Digi 003r slave to Apollo twin?
I've searched and haven't found any info on this. I have a digi 003r and I am going to buy the apollo twin for the quality pres and converters, but I will need more inputs to track drums. Is it possible to connect digi 003r from adat out on 003r to adat in on apollo twin? I have an Ada8000, but I was wanting to use my other preamps through the direct ins on the 003r, plus use the foot switch for punch in/out (will that work thru lightpipe connection, if it works at all?) any info is appreciated.

No, the 003r is primary only. No aggregation, no standalone operation

Too bad. I'll use the ada8000. Putting preamps in front of the ada8000 pres seems to be an improvement over the stock pres, according to the forums. Any opinion on this?
