Default Pro Tools 10.3.8 stopped recognizing control 24

I just upgraded my computer mac pro and HD system to HDX. i was running protools 10.3.8, mac os 10.7.5, connected to control 24. Changed the hardware but protools version and mac os remain the same but after years of trouble free connection, now protools will not recognize control 24 on the ethernet connection.
I have swapped cables. I have swapped ethernet ports on the computer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled protools 10.3.8. I've tried powering down and powering up in various sequences.
Any thoughts, ideas, experience with this are appreciated. Thanks, Dan'l

Hi and Welcome to the Community

When we updated our PT9HD to 10HD a long time ago we missed a setting in the peripheral section under setup and there is a checkbox that default to unchecked there which is a PITA if missed. Have you checked there to see that its checked?

Well I'm not sure which box you meant because I had checked the enable ethernet box a gazillion times. But this time I checked the colored boxes and sure enough there was my trusty Control 24!
Seems to be working fine! Many Thanks!!!
