Digi 001 Headphone Mix not working

I tried everything but still couldn't get a headphone mix to work.
My microphone is hooked into port 1 of Digi 001. I have a stereo
audio track with that input and output to bus 1/2. I have another
aux track that sends output to Stereo 3/4 for the headphone output.
And finally the master fader to the monitor out.

Anyway when I am not recording I can hear the vocal clearly thru
the headphone mix. It goes into Didi 001 and comes out fine...
But when I click RECORD/PLAY I don't hear anything on the
headphone mix. I hear all the tracks output, all but the vocal track
that I am trying to record.

What is wrong does anyone know? I am using Protools 5.3.1 LE on
a Pentium 2.4Ghz 512Mb RAM, 2 x 40Gb HD...

Try "Alt-K" to toggle Auto-Input monitoring,
