Default Anyone have Scheps Omni tips to share??

This turned up in my email, thought I’d share.

Personally, I’m not sure if I have any techniques to share. That’s me, any of you guys got techniques you can post??

Don't try and pull a lot of gain reduction from the compressor or you'll get clicks in the audio when the compressor engages. Same thing happens in the Waves TG12345 strip with the compressor first in the chain after the input controls.

Want to lessen picking noises in a bass guitar? Try using one of the de-essors to do the job. Can also work on 6 string guitar bit takes a bit more fiddling.

works fine here, are you sure it's not bringing up the noises in the audio?

Nope. These pops are endemic to a lot of the Waves compressors when you try to pull too much gain reduction.
