PT 10HD volume automation weirdness...
or not.
So uhhhh…still on the PT 10 HD demo here, I'm sure it's operator error and something obvious but I can't figure it out. I'll put the edit channel/track on 'Volume'….tweak the line/automation but it's not correlating to the Mixer Channel for that track. IE: I'll go -8.3db on snare and the channel on the mixer shows a different number? It's not on every audio channel. Is this a trim thing I'm messing up or something? I don't remember running across this in 6, 7, 8, & 9. Thanks! |

Re: PT 10HD volume automation weirdness...
is Automation on or off?
could the mixer be set to peak or delay? (control+click on Mac, can't remember Windows right now)

Re: PT 10HD volume automation weirdness...
Gotta also make sure you selected volume, and not volume TRIM. And also, not sure which version, so a VCA could cause a difference as well(HD or w/CPTK).

Re: PT 10HD volume automation weirdness...
Aaahhhhh! Heh, VCAs was the answer. I'm new to using them....makes sense that the numbers stay relative to where the VCA is at(I'm assuming)
Thanks all. |
