Hey what's up guys,

Kurzweil 2600X VS. Casio Lighted Keyboard LK6.

I was wondering if you guys could help me make a purchasing decision regarding keyboards. I've been saving up and am thinking of getting either the Kurzweil 2600X fully loaded, or the Casio Lighted Keyboard LK6. Do you guys have any experience with these keyboards? Lots of producers tell me that the Kurzweil has a "warmer" sound than the Casio but many insist that the Casio's 10 demo songs are considered CLASSIC. Another thing I need to consider is price. While the Kurzweil costs about 4,000 bucks, I could get the Casio for about 60 dollars from this website:http://www.onehitwonders.com/lk6.html. All of you have said that a high price does not equal high quality though. The Casio may just give me the most "bang for the buck". It also takes AA batteries so I can take it on the road if I need to. The only thing that bothers me about the Casio, however, is that there does not appear to be a digital output on it for me to link to my DIGI001. There also do not appear to be any midi or analog signal outputs of any sort. Does anyone know if there is an expansion device that allows the Casio to do this? Please let me know....if not, I may go with the Kurzweil!

Thanks,
Vince

Neve Console W/Flying Faders

Hello Guys

I am considering to buy a Neve Mixer With Flying faders, but I am in love with Peavey Mixers because these beasts had never let me down on stage, and I think it would do the same on the studio.

If you guys were to make a decision what you will buy for your studio?

Maybe I can spend the remaining money in some other gear worth the price,

but any way, who in the world would spent thousands s bucks on a Neve Mixer if all the mixers are able to handle XLR and line levels??

well,

please give me a hint, cause I am in a real doubt about it

thanx

Steve
