Default Option to decide the number of busses in buss menu

Hey guys, I have a very complex I/O setup for my mixes (as I'm sure a lot of you have) and pro tools' rigid bus menu hierarchy doesn't work for me...
(bus menu 1-128, 129-256, 257-384, etc... - screenshot attached)
Is there any way to decide on new number clusters?
That way, you could all your verbs on the first group, effects on the second, summing busses on the third, etc...

Anyone?

In the I/O setup you can call the busses what you like. They don't have to be numbers.

So, you could call bus 1-2 'Verb Lexicon' bus 2-3 'Verb Softube' or whatever. You could have all your verbs (renamed) spread out over a group of closely related bus numbers, then do same for EQ, Compression, etc. and have the bus groups organised in any order

Not sure if this is what you're asking.

NOT what I was asking.
It splits the bus menus (when you assign a send in the mixer) to groups of 128. Those groups are too large, and I sometimes have to create 'filler' unused bussed just to 'skip' to the next group.
Anyone else?

Couldn't you assign all your groups within the first 128 and delete what you don't need or delete what you don't need within each batch of 128?

Not what I'm trying to do here.
I'll try to be clearer-
I'd like to be able to decide on smaller numbers for bus menus. (should be user-definable) and that way, let's say you have 45 effect sends- those will be the first bus menu, (look at the screenshot) then distortion effect, then summing busses, etc... Right now we're bound to the arbitrary number of 128...

If you open Setup>IO and click the BUS tab, you can select all and delete paths, or select most(keep as many as you like) and delete the rest(select the buses you wish to delete). Ditto on naming to fit your needs. You can also create a new bus by using the "New Track" option(check youtube for some tutorials on using buses in pro tools)

Sorry guys, none of this is what I'm talking about. You guys are all stating the basic functions of IO setup. I'm well aware of those.

When you assign a send, if you have UNDER 128 busses, there will only be one menu for sends. If you have 129-256, you'll now have two menus for the busses and so on and so forth. Menu A, B, C, etc...

There is no way to do what you want that I know of. And I doubt other people think it’s even worth worrying about... as you can see by the replies here folks live fine by just naming the busses, other folks don’t seems worried by how those names are clustered in menus

I've been trying to figure this one out as well.
Far as I can tell, there's no way around it.
PT automatically creates a new bus "page" when it reaches each 128 limit.
It would indeed be very cool to be able to assign busses to pages.
