Anyone using Wacom Intuos Tablet w/ PT?
Just wondering how people like the combo. Any incompatibilities/problems?
Thanks |

Re: Anyone using Wacom Intuos Tablet w/ PT?
I have been using the tablet for close to 2 months now and it works perfectly. It takes a little getting used to but once you get comfortable it is very easy to use. Plus almost every client thinks it's some kind of high tech "next level s**t".

Does it just work, or is it better.

Re: Anyone using Wacom Intuos Tablet w/ PT?
I've been using a Wacom tablet of some kind for more than 10 years.
I bought a bunch of Intuos tablets last year - and swear by them! They come in multiple colors, so each room has its own color - so if the pen winds up in a different room or workstation, then we know where it's supposed to live. There's nothing "special" about the Intuos vs. other Wacom tablets -- it's a no brainer to install, comes with a mouse with 2 buttons and a wheel for those pen-shy. I wouldn't use ANY OTHER input device for PT (or for any task, for that matter). Once you've penned, you'll never want to mouse again. jr

Silly questions:
Do you know if they still make an adb version, and, can I hook my turbo mouse up to it? Thanks, COCO |

Do you know if they still make an adb version

Don't know... but I'd sell you mine that now sits on a shelf. I'm fairly certain the driver software works with it still... OR - get a cheap PCI USB card (about $40 or so) and then you can use any USB device. I've never encountered conflicts between Wacom driver and anything. jr

I'm going to look into this. The USB option is not an option, all six PCI slots jammed. Since you're in NY, this may work out. I'll email you.
