PT wont launch after 8.0.1 update
Been running Pt 8 cs3 with no problems. Performed the 8.0.1 update, now
pro tools wont launch and displays this warning: The application Pro Tools HD quit unexpectedly. My rig consists of: PT 8 HD2/PCIx MAC OS 10.5.8 G5 PPC 2.7hz 8g Ram Appreciate any help.

I have a similar problem. I have just bought a new iMac and a factory bundle of Pro Tools 8 Le and a 2nd Gen Mbox. Installed the update to 8.01 and a driver for the mbox and whenever attempting to open a blank session it says "Pro Tools has Quit Unexpectedly". Its a bit frustrating because I'm just looking at my recording gear and still can't use it!
