Do you think that Structure is the wrong way to go for me?

Of course, I can see from your post count and history :) What I meant was a potential new buyer of Structure...which apparently you could be :)

To be honest I just don't know what to advise, then. Other than archaic hardware samplers, my only experience is with Kontakt and Structure..as far as soft samplers go. You may want to see if someone else chimes in with a third option. Structure has worked great for me, especially in a 32 bit Win XP environment. When I bought my 7.4 rig with the first AIR box I pretty much built a computer around the software based on DUC feedback and advice. Building a functional software system around a set computer build could indeed prove problematic. It shouldn't...but there's an Illiad worth of posts here on the DUC that show otherwise.

Agreed. I think I just moved on from the whole show a while back...the verbal artillery from both sides started to lose focus and meaning...in the end I just saw a company and it's customers grunting at each other like baboons. A sad performance all the way around.

I'm just thankful that what I have works, and pays the bills...I understand I may be one of the lucky few as far as Structure is concerned. I learned a few hard financial lessons...probably not my last. Such is life.

I understand. I don't even know if there are other options than Structure and Kontakt. I like the way Structure looks and the features included, so I am tempted. My system is definitely not the latest and greatest, so I could be grasping at straws here.

I'm so sick and tired of wasting money on software that claims to be compatible, but aren't. There should be a law against it IMO. Maybe there are...

I love AIR products. I use Velvet, Hybrid and all plugins included with PT 8. Lots of good stuff in there. Then there's Structure...

Yes, Structure 1.0.5 is compatible for OS X Tiger and Pro Tools 7.4.

Alternatively, Stig, all you need is the Structure 1.0.0 and Content iLok assets. I'm sure there are those that are not upgrading.

I think not, you have a few options available, AvidStore, Local Store, DUC, Ebay. Boy, I could even ship the Structure 1.0.0 and content to yah but I don't have the asset as it was traded in for the $99 USD PTIEP Upgrade path.
