Default Sound Toys v4 Decapitator Automation

Dear All

Has anyone had any automation issues with Decapitator?
I used it for telephone distort (as haven't bought speakerphone yet due to suspect automation posts on the duc) and the automation is a shambles on re-opening the session (oh the irony) - I will try and investigate more and see what "digititus" i.e finger trouble it could have possibly been.....

Anyone?

cheers

I own all of the SoundToys products, and automation recall-reliability has been an issue with certain settings in Echoboy and Filterfreak. (Echoboy won't always remember note values)

I've communicated this to their support several times, and I think they understand. I haven't put Decapitator to the test yet- been using it only in static snapshots so far.

Speakerphone got A LOT better with a recent revision. Check it out.

thanks for the reply

thankfully I printed the mix before closing the session and the client loved it so no revisions are necessary

I will contact he soundtoys boys for a comment - this is not good and is the SECOND time a sound toys plug has bit me in the a@@e with automation, filterfreak was the culprit last time (and I was mixing on a PC rig - so put it down to a windoze gremlin, maybe unfairly)

I suspect I may have to buy speakerphone (as well as altiverb XL, Neyrink Dolby E...... geez)

cheers
