Default BFD Lite

I am new so forgive me of my ignorance for now. I have just purchased MBOX 2 Pro/Factory...am making sense out of most things so far except how to trigger (or just get to work) BFD lite. I use reason (redrum) so when I am recording redrum just kicks in but if I use BFD it begins and then stops while everything is still going. I am just a little unsure...

Any help would be fantastic!!!!

Thanks

Trucker out!
