What to do with DVTK license?

Hello,

When I moved from LE7.4 to PT10, I didn't get round to turning my DVTK2 into CPTK.

Should I upgrade now or wait for PT11? In terms of financial implications please.

I fear you may be too late, as CPTK has now been withdrawn from sale, as of the PT11 announcement.

You should ask Avid ASAP whether they will sell you an upgrade, but don't build up your hopes for a positive outcome.

You can't upgrade with it now. CPTK has been discontinued, and so there is no more upgrade to it.

Unless Avid changes their mind about that between now and PT11 release. But I doubt it.

Assuming that's the case, the only thing left would be to try to sell it to someone who's still running PT8 or earlier.

Interesting.... might have to a have a chat with our kit suppliers at work to see if they have any suggestions.
