Will LE 6.9.2 work under updated Mac OS?

A friend of mine wants to update her OS to the current version. She's afraid that her version of PT won't be supported. Please don't scold me (I'm just the messenger) for not checking out the compatibility chart, or not searching the DUC archives, for I have already done that. It's just that the specific combination wasn't mentioned, hence the question. Her setup is:
- G4 Powerbook circa 2004 / 1.33 GHz / 1GB RAM, running Mac OS 10.4.11 / PTLE 6.9.2 on an Mbox1.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

PT versions are tied to OS versions so you need to check what 6.9.2 is compatible with.

If she want to upgrade to Mac OS 10.5.x (Leopard), then it will also be necessary to purchase the PT upgrade to 7.4 (7.4.2) from the Digistore. Currently, 10.5.3 or 10.5.4 are the supported OS's.

Note, some (if not all) third party (non Digirack) plug-ins may also require updates.

She should be aware that both the OS and PT are more CPU intensive and performance on a 1.33 G4 powerbook may suffer.

The compatibility charts just say PTLE 6.9.2 is fine with Mac OS 10.4.
It doesn't say how high in 10.4 you can go and be fine.

I won't be putting Leopard on this machine.

I just wondered about updates becasue I have other non audio software I'd like to use, but can't because 10.4.2 works fine with my Pro Tools.

Although 6.9.2 was never tested on 10.4.11 (which came out quite a bit after 6.9.2), I would expect it to work if you update using BOTH of the following steps:

1 - Download and install the Mac OS X 10.4.11 Combo Update (PPC)

2 - Download the latest PACE drivers from www.paceap.com
On the top right side where it says:
