Default xpand?

Hi all, this is my first post. Thanks for all the great bits of advice i've found on here over the years. I've been running a TDM system for ages, it's perfect.
I've just bought a Mac Book (intel etc...) and i'm having loads of issues running Pro tools LE.
So anyway, i seem to have got LE to run smooth enough, I've downloaded the intel upgrade, is this gonna do the trick? the reason i ask is because i'm not able to get online in the studio i'm working in so gotta ask these questions while i get the chance.
Thanks in advance,
Tom
