Have you seen this:

The good thing seems to be that RTAS restrictions are going so I can finally use Inspector XL on HD

LOL. But hey, at least we get to use the RTAS stuff on the master fader, so my InspectorXL can be used like it should. Yes yes yes yes ))))

From another thread:
Quote:
Audio
· New Region Groups allow grouping of any combination of audio and
MIDI regions, across any number of tracks

This will be fantastic for mixing in the box and sound design. Now we can group all the sound elements for a particular effect, without having to assign to dedicated tracks. Not much use to those who still mix through a console, however. Now if they have implemented "panning follows groups" this could be a huge time saver. We'll see.

If this is true, would it also mean that on HD systems, RTAS can be used on AUX tracks as well? How abt ADC? would it be "automatic" ??

Well, I read this in the other forum and the dealer memo stated that RTAS plugins can be run on AUX and master faders on HD sets. Not sure how ADC handles this. Guess we'll have to wait...

If history repeats itself, expect a v7.1 in April (NAB) with post enhancements. I hope they are working on MachineControl for that release.

i guess i'll be happy that the pro control play button bug will be fixed. but you'd think since they broke that in v6, the could have fixed it in v6.
