Default BFD Performance???

Hi there,
I remember hearing alot of complaints about performance problems BFD had with protools. I was wondering if anybody had any info on that. Did they fix it in version 1.5 or is it still a problem to work with BFD on protools. I used Protools 7.1 on a Dual 2.5 Power Mac and a Digi002.
Thank you in advance

I've never had performance issues with BFD. As long as you follow all of the recommendations, it runs very smoothly.

Underpowered computers, not enough RAM, and/or not having the samples on a separate drive as suggested will cause performance issues. Most of the compaints I've heard are from people who are trying to use it outside those recommendations.
