Default Recording with a USB Headset mic

Hello! So I just finished installing Pro Tools 11 trial on my computer, for a class project that's due tomorrow morning (uh oh), and I've run into a bit of a snag. Opening my project from school I found that, of course, none of the audio files I imported could be used because they couldn't be found on my computer. Nonetheless, there are sites that I can use to broaden my sound vocabulary.

What really bites is the fact that my narration element was also lost, and be because the original file is located on an smb server at my school, it looks like I need to recreate it. So, my question is, I have a gigaware USB headset, is there any way I could hook it up to pro tools and re record?

Maybe, try downloading and installing ASIO4ALL. Its a freeware "universal" ASIO driver that just might allow you to use the USB mic
