Default Missing Waves plugs

I recently upgraded to PT7 and my Waves Platinum add on plugs (L3, IR, etc.) have all disappeared in PT. Trashing the Prefs per the Digi troubleshooting guide doesn't seem to make any difference. The Answerbase didn't give me any clues either. I'm thinking that maybe the c4 update may have zorked them? They show up in my system's add/remove programs but not PT. Any ideas on a fix? Thanks!

Always state your versions!

IF you have Waves Plat. 5 - go to the Waves homepage, login and get the PT 7 fix file.

I am assuming you have 5.0. If not, you'll need to upgrade. And unless you have the newest 5.0 version (5.2 I think?), I would go to the Waves site and download the Platinum, IR, and Vocal bundle (you get Tune LT free if you don't already have it) installs, and the PT7 updater.

First, try running the updater and see what happens. With me, half my plug-ins disappeared. I then uninstalled everything, reinstalled it, and reapplied the PT7 update. It fixed everything except my IR-L disappeared. I uninstalled IR, reinstalled it, and reran the PT7 update. Everything now shows up and works.

Kind of a pain but, while I haven't been on PT7 long, I haven't experienced any problems so far.

I've already run the PT7 update for Waves. I'll try the uninstall/reinstall and see if that works. Thanks for your help!
