black screens caused by protools
I know protools system drivers run at start up they run as graphics, sound, cpu, and keyboard drivers. I have been having frequent black screens with my new power house server. sometimes when I boot up it will flash then turn black
other times it will turn black when loading a song. has anybody else had this issue? I have the 2018.4 version. I have a dell tech telling me its not a dell issue. I have a focusrite 212 and uninstalled the old focusrite drivers that weren't compatible and afterwards protools automatically installed its own version of the focusrite drivers which is the wrong version. so now I have 2 versions of the focusrite drivers installed and protools won't let me use the good (new) version only the bad version it keeps installing. -thank you for your time |

Re: black screens caused by protools
Have you tried updating the driver PT installs?
