Default Faderport 8 anyone else having this problem with pro tools 12.6.1?

Hi

Anyone else having this problem with pro tools 12.6.1? Faderport 8 foot pedal is NOT letting me punch in the track. Ive tried two different foot pedals Live wire solution LWS -25 and VFP 1/25. All it does is start and stop the session.

Could it be you have to a special foot pedal that works specially for faderport 8?

Please share?

Thank you

One idea, with my original Faderport, I have to light up the SHIFT key for the foot switch to work as punch in/out(otherwise, it starts and stops transport). You are likely one of the first users here with the FP8, assuming this solves your issue(or maybe Presonus Support can help), do let us all know what you think about the product as it looks rather cool

BTW, the foot switch should be momentary and N.O.(normally open). Most generic sustain pedals are like this, or have a switch to go between N.O. and N.C.(normally closed).

Hi,

Yes I'm waiting to hear back from Presonus on this issue.

So far I really like it, especially for the price compared to the over priced Avid Artist Mix series I sold. I'll let you know the more as I us it.

Thanks Dave lol
