Default Autotune Update Glitch Prob Fixed?

Have any of you guys tried the update on AT3.25? I had complained for the past few years as have others about problems with glitches, popping, etc. I got an email from Marty recently saying they thought they had it solved. I downloaded the update and have tried it on several vocals and it seems fixed. I haven't heard one glitch or pop.

It seemed to be worse on female vocals and soprano even worse. I tried a variety of ranges of singers and never heard one problem.

If this is the case, then I thank the Antares crew for addressing this. Even though it has been a long time coming, it is worth it if it is solved.

BTW: I did all these tests on PT.6.0.1 OSX. They have the update for OS9 also he said. In my case it reauthorized itself since I had just installed AT on this new system.

I am not sure how it works with older ones. I assume it is a patch fix. You'll have to ask Marty.

I have the glitch problem--but I can't find the 3.25 update you speak of. The site has 3.22. Where did you find it?

I don't know if I am at liberty to release the link for it. Marty just emailed it to me. I would prefer anyone wanting it to contact Marty directly at Antares.

I feel that is best.

George

I found it was the RTAS and AudioSuite versions that had the problems and TDM was ok. Which did you test?

I always had glitches on TDM. I rarely use RTAS unless I am doing a big vocal group and need a lot in AUTO mode not having the time or money to tune ind. The tests I did on 3.25 were both RTAS and TDM. I have yet to hear any problems with it. I will report if I do.

Marty seemed comfident they had solved it.

I don't know that is isn't now. Email Antares and ask Marty. I assumed when he sent it to me that it was out. He did not indicate otherwise. I am not a tester for them or anything. I had just been a complainer.

I have the link. I just don't know if he meant to give it out yet.

I emailed him, but haven't received a reply.

I emailed Marty through the antarestech site and got the URL sent back to me. 3.25 is still at testing stage, but he was happy to give me the address to try it.

I got a reply back from him and he said they were getting ready to publicly release it. He did not indicate to me in the first contact that it was a test situation or what. His message was a reply back on an email I had sent last year when I was complaining about it.

I assume he will post it on the site soon.

Both 9 and X seem to working much better. OS9 still has that funky problem in TDM mode about the colors of the fields switching from white to ?.. Old version they went to green. Now they are sort of pale blue. AudioSuite still stays while and OSX version stays white.
