Pro Tools Crashes during "Restoring Tracks" portion of startup

I, too, have wasted most of my Christmas holiday "fun" fighting this same issue. Still trying to narrow it down after 8-9 days performing dozens of reboots and surgical imports to new sessions.

I'm quite surprised no one else has reported this issue since the previous post.

Although Pro Tools is one of the most wonderful pieces of software in the audio world and I like it immensely, it sits at the other end of the spectrum for reliability, and, in spite of these serious shortcomings, is the accepted world standard... for now.
