Pro Tools ran out of CPU power while scrubbing?
I'm simply scrubbing and Pro Tools 12.4.2 is claiming that I'm running out of CPU power. I do have a bunch of plugins instantiated but I've been running them without issue.
The weird thing is when I watch the system usage dialog, the CPU isn't coming anywhere close to maxing out. (I'm probably around 10-15% load), I don't see any spikes in the CPU tasking. Has anyone see this as well on a HD native system? Any suggestions? John |

Re: Pro Tools ran out of CPU power while scrubbing?
You cannot see the spikes causing this. If Pro Tools thinks there is a problem there is, looking at the CPU meters is largely a waste of time. You need to focus on all the things you can do, checking your system is optimized, standard troubleshooting--including starting by removing all third party plugins. Start at the "help us help you" link up the top of every DUC web page and provide all the information expected, including a Sandra report (and note which disk partitions shown there are used for audio/sessions and samples) and exactly what troubleshooting you have done.
