MDW Massenburg EQ for AAX

Dear George & MDW team

Please could you fix the ICON issues ?

Your EQ is my absolute go to plugin but since I´m most of the time
working on d-command with monitor off I would need the IN buttons
badly for visual feedback.
Since some companies want fortunes for their AAX upgrades like sonnox
I gonna clean up my plugin list and so the EQ department
really narrows down to your EQ & channelstrip.

Indeed I can confirm on the version I'm running (not a beta) delay comp seems to be wrong by around 28samples.

I lost about 3 hours to this wondering why my video was "looser" until I vaguely remembered someone on here mentioning it.

I had to manually move around printed stems.

I really hope this has/will be sorted in the beta

It's still in testing. George is VERY meticulous and won't release until he's comfortable doing so. He's old school like that.

Reading between the lines of his last post, I'd say that there's something in the 11.1 update that fixes some sort of AAX problem and I think MDW EQ5 will appear when the 11.1 update does.
Maybe we'll see some more manufacturers conspicuous by their absence release something then too?

Hi Guys,


I purchased version 5 of the MDW from the avid store yesterday. I've tried bouncing a few things using it and there is a delay at the start of everything I bounce, which means the end of tunes are getting chopped off.


I'm running PT 10.3.6 and 11.0.1 and I have version 502 {80960} of the MDW EQ. Are there any ways to get around this problem?

in PT10 with delay compensation on, it appears to be working ok.

Seems to be ok with delay compensation on in PT 11 as well. Will test it out with a few other things.

Just bounced a couple of loops out and it appears to be Ok in PT10 but it's doing strange pre delays to kick drums in PT 11.

Will keep going.
