Default Please help with a clocking issue...

Hi all,

I have an SSL Alpha Link AX and 2 ADAT Bridges (24 bit) that I am trying to hook up to replace older Digi converters.
I have connected everything in various ways that seem sensible but cant get all 24 channels working without clicking and popping. 1-8 are fine and 17-24 are fine but 9-16 are problematic.
This is the best setup so far:
I have the first ADAT as the master clock and the SSL set to sync to the toslink signal. The second bridge is slave clock chasing the first. However, when I do this the 'A' portion of the first bridge is displaying the 'Internal' as the clock master and the 'B' shows Slave... my question is what is this 'B' section slaving too? also is there a way I can make ALL sections clock to the ADAT clock on the toslink and use the SSL as the master? The SSL pumps the word clock down all 3 of it's toslink outputs but I dont know how to make the ADAT bridge sync to these- only the first 8.

Tomorrows session is in your hands people- please help!

P
