Default S3L plugin install problem

Hi,

I bought the Disto-s plugin from SKnote, with AAX-DSP. And did everything what the manual said (see below), but when I copy everything to an USB (exFat) the s3l wont read the USB...

Guide from SKnote:

"
SKnote Disto-S AAX.

Installation.

- Create a "SKnote" sub-directory in your plugins folder.
- copy the content of the downloaded zip file to "SKnote" directory. You should see "Disto-S_Original.aaxplugin" and "Disto-Sd". Rename "Disto-S_Original.aaxplugin" exactly "Disto-S.aaxplugin". Keep Disto-Sd with the plugin.
- Launch ProTools. Insert Disto-S in a track and open the interface. It will self-install.
Check: your name should be visible in the bottom-right corner on the interface.

To install on Venue console.
- Install on Pro Tools.
- Launch the plugin from inside Pro Tools. Check your name in the bottom-right corner.
- Close Pro Tools.
- Copy the plugin from Pro Tools to Venue.

Enjoy and please help to protect the software.

Do you put it into USB in the following way

<USB Drive>:\AAX Plug-Ins\Disto-S.aaxplugin

?

First install and open in Pro Tools, then go to plug in folder and copy the content including the file called COLISA, then paste manually in the plug in folder on your S3L-X via desktop.
Then in plug in tab you should see the plug in under “prevoius installtions “ or “ plug ins on this console”, install on console from there.
Worked for me with multiple SK note plug ins and they all sound smazing!!!
They key is the dugital authorization file ( colisa) created by pro tools. Hope you can figure it out, otherwise e-mail Qunito Sardo at SK Note ([email protected] ) We need to support the people who help to improve this unique console, no other system is better suited for international fly dates.
Best,
Frank

I'm not entirely sure this is relevant, but when you installed on Pro Tools, was it a Mac or PC Pro Tools?

Please tell me what files are in the Disto-S.aaxplugin folder and subfolders? Could you post screenshots of the folder structure inside?

Good question! Must be PT on Windows, otherwise it should not be recognized.

You don’t even have to do the protools install, you can just unzip the files and copy them to the usb stick to check if it works.
Take care: you are missing your name in the plugin that way, stating that it is licensed.
