Unhappy Editing: slow response. HELP!

HI

I am currently finishing an album, and suddenly the system is responding slowly.

When i nudge a region, it moves after 1,5 sec. Same with Separate region and creating fades. Undo (z) has normal fast response.

What could be the problem.

Really need to get the speed back, so I can finish in time.

Thanks

I have seen other posts where this happens during playback, but for me it's all the time.

Anyone?

Thanks

Do you have a very high number of regions in your region bin? Have you tried remove unused regions and/or consolidating any tracks with high edit density?

If high region counts is not the issue - have you tried trashing prefs? Have you checked activity monitor to see if your session is running near the memory limit? Have you tried opening it with plugins disabled? Have you tried saving a copy to another drive?

Just a few suggestions off the top of my head.

Thanks for the suggestions, suicune. Lots of edits, so regions list could be problem. Will remove auto created and non used to see how it goes. Recently trashed prefs, but since working 12 hours a day, I might just do it again ;-)

Thanks
