Need Help: Insert FX Automation

Hello,

i want to put delay on a sound and i want the delay to follow a automation. so what i did so far:

create a bus
send signal to bus
create track (delay)
i/o setting of track (delay) set to from bus
insert the delay plugin

so far so good, all works problem is: i can only hear when i put the track into rec mode. but in rec mode it is not reading the automation data... i hope some one understand what i mean and can give me a hint... thanks

The track that you created for the delay should be an aux track, not an audio track.
