disappearing regions in 7.3.1

Now, along with mov files not importing properly I am saving and closing sessions and upon reopening some audio files are not showing up in the session. They seem to be random. The audio files remain in the regions bin but are not showing up on the timeline. This is since recent 7.3.1 update.

single 1.8 g5
2 gig ram
hd2 non accel pci
