OMF from Avid with Media Offline
Hi everyone
I got an OMF (linked) created from a (secondary) Avid with media offline in the time line. Now i have my OMF and all the audio files (from the primary Avid) , but when i try to relink them in Pro Tools it doesn't work. In Pro Tools Relink window all the files names are "file location unknow", and it doesn't work even if i try to relink them only by ID. I used to know that you CAN'T relink files from an OMF created from an Avid with media offline. But the editor assistent told me i'm wrong. Am i missing something? Is there a way to relink these files. Please help. Thanks Andy |
