The AIR installers are a separate download. You should be able to see them in your downloads page on the avid website

From the first post on this thread...

And as the previous poster (nikhilmulay) mentioned, some of these are separate downloads. See this post for more info:

Thanks for the reply Bruce. I found the Air plugins and they are working now. I don't see the Short, Med., Long stereo delays though. Is the Air Multi-Delay supposed to replace these?

Are the Big Fish Loops downoads the same as I had with p.t. 10?

Unrelated, but getting AAE error -20010 when trying to run Reason 6.5.3 as a rewire in an instrument track. Ideas? No problems before with p.t. 10.

Mod Delay III replaces the old Short, Med, and Long delay plug-ins. It even has the old presets in it.

Probably best posting that question out in the forum so more people can see it and offer any possible help.

Hi,

Pro Tools Update Center notified me of the following 11.1 AAX plug-in updates:

Classic Compressors
Moogerfooger
Smack
Tel-ray Variable Delay
Voce Bundle

I'm currently running the 11.0 versions.

I also noticed that an AAX 11.1 version of Space is available.

Apparently, since I'm still running PT 11.0.2 Native, the 11.1 plug-ins will not authorize, even though the licenses are in my iLok account. Unless I'm overlooking something.

Too bad. I can't get Space back without updating to PT 11.1, which only runs under Mavericks. I'm hesitating to install Mavericks, because I'm still seeing some pretty ghastly horror stories about it.

Other 11.0 plug-ins apparently have not been updated, e.g. Pultec, Joe Meek, SoundReplacer, Eleven.

Two questions:

Will 11.0 plug-ins run under PT 11.1 without updating?

And, for those who have updated to PT 11.1, how stable is Pro Tools under Mavericks, and for that matter, how stable do you find Mavericks itself?

Thanks for any constructive comments on this.

Cheers

Go to here and check out the mac os compatibility grid for PT11.

http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...m-Requirements

It clearly shows that 11.1 is qualified to run under Mountain Lion 10.8.4 and 10.8.5, as well as Mavericks 10.9.x

I'm running PT11.1.3 AND all the plugins you mention with 10.8.5

Thanks, Nigel. I had forgotten that 10.8.5 was OK with 11.1.

I don't always trust Avid's compatibility lists. In fact, I'm running PT11 under ML, on an early 2008 8-core Mac Pro - not approved, but works great. I was even running 11.0 under 10.7.5 also not approved, until recently, with no problems.

Couldn't find anything saying specifically that the 11.0 plug-ins will run in 11.1, but if that's what you're telling me, I'll certainly take your word for it.

I'm embarrassed how distrustful I've become of Avid's update/upgrade schemes. And I've been using Pro Tools since v.4.x.

Thanks again!

The 11.0 plugins run fine as far in PT11.1 asfar as I recall. It was a while before I realised that 11.1 versions of the plugin installers had been released, and during that time I was running PT11.1 with 11.0 optional plugins.

It wasn't made clear/explicit/obvious that optional plugin installers had been updated, that info seemed to just gradually spread around the DUC as people discovered it and mentioned it in posts.

We did put this on the 1st post in this thread:

But it is kind of buried down at the bottom, so easy to have missed. I just added version numbers to the list to make it easier to get that info, and this text above the list:
Quote:
The latest version number is listed next to each paid plug-in. Free plug-ins included with Pro Tools 11 are automatically updated during Pro Tools installation.
Also, the v11.0 plug-ins on that list are all compatible with Pro Tools 11.1.x as well as 11.0.x.
