I think you've got the best way to keep the dverb instuctions available.....just add them at the bottom as in your last post everytime you post the results......

i was suprised when I did my hardware upgrade they gave me, I think it was 30 days to ship my Mbox back. I was so happy to get my 002. I should have bought what I wanted in the first place

Is thee no way to select 95% CPU usage with the Core Duo Intels? Am I the only one who can only select up to 90%?

I'll have to check and see although at the moment I'm on my Macbookpro and they may not be the same. I doubt if it would make a much of a difference between 90 and 95% ,that may have been written a PT version or two ago. It probably should state Maximum CPU usage but we should look into it,

VocalVoodoo My Core 2 Duo MacBookPro only lists 90% as the max percentage. I think the 95% figure was from before PT was optimized for MultiCores.

I'll change the directions in the post though.

Thanks Sunburst. I realized that if you select one processor you can go up to 99%. 2 maxes out at 90%. Something of interest. I just re-did my Dverb test. With one processor I could get 70 DVERBS. With 2 I could get 104, which by the way is my latest DVERB score if you want to put that on the list. Too bad it wasn't 140 with 2 processors.

sunburst, you are da man!!! thanks for keepin' the info and thread flowin'!!! and damn, i'm totally thinkin' like you on the P965 VS 975x chipset. i had decided on the ASUS P5W DH Deluxe (975X) mobo but am rethinkin' things now. looks like i need to do my due-diligence on the mobo with the P965 chipset. any one that you'd recommend more than the others?????

sunburst, off topic question for ya. right now i've got my audio drive on a PROMISE SCSI controller. is it doable to move my CD and DVD drives to the SCSI controller and move my audio drive to the secondary IDE controller on the mobo??? maybe give better performance on my lil ol' P4???
