Default PTE & OS X Yosemite

Yosemite is out today... will PTE work on Yosemite? I know there is no support for Mavericks but I was able to use PTE on Mavericks.

Please let me know if anyone knows.

Why not install Yosemite on a separate partition and give it a try. If it doesn't work wipe the partition and move on.

PTE is not recognizing my hardware on Yosemite. It will not start up.

Got your pre-update image backup or worse case time-machine backup handy?

I do not. However, I think it has more to do with my hardware driver than Pro Tools itself, so... Hopefully they'll release a driver update for Yosemite.

Hopefully, but don't hold your breath. And there are other PT bugs being reported on Yosemite.

And you do know that Mbox driver incompatibility was a known issue folks have been reporting.

Yeah, well, it didn't occur to me that I might have problems. I upgraded through several OS X versions and merrily kept using PTE.

I saw in other posts that PT 11 works with Yosemite. Is there a series 11 version of PT Express I can upgrade to ?
