play back through my computer?

I read in the manual that you cannot monitor or play back your music through your computers speaker system. I suspect like most things that “if there is a will, there is a way.” I have an Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS (WDM) sound card and 5:1 speaker system. Is there a way to play back through my computer?

You´re saying you want Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS to be an output option in PT if I understand right. No that´s not possible. And why would you want that? I strongly recommend to disable that soundcard if you want the best of your ProTools system.

Even if it were possible, it would likely sound like crap as you would be sending a stereo signal thru a 5.1 system that would probably try to create psuedo-sorround out of it. My suggestion: don't waste your time on it.
