Mbox 2 mini with pro tools 10.3.10

I just got pro tools 10.3.10 I am running it on Mac OS X 10.7.5 and something with my mbox doesn’t seem to be working, it says mbox 2 mini on my mbox but is an old version( in my system preferences it called in firmware 1.4) I downloaded drivers and the mbox light comes on but in a session I can’t set up an input for any track, I have researched mbox compatibility and I can’t find a solid answer, if I need to buy an updated mbox I’m not opposed to it just need to know if that’s what I need can anyone help?
