Maximum Automatic Delay Compensation?
Hi,
why PTHD10.3 (HD3Accel) maximum ADC is 4,095 samples at 48 kHz and PTHD10x Native is 16,383 samples at 48 kHz ? I am having some issues with ADC using PSP Neon(HD) / Waves L316 and others above 4,095 samples .. My Rig is PTHD10x with HD3Accel . thx |

Re: Maximum Automatic Delay Compensation?
What exact problem do you have/are you asking about?
The 4k limit on HD is a standard (and well documented) hardware limit of HD/TDM systems. HD delay compensation is crippled by the ancient Motorola 56k DSP processors and their tiny memory capacity. Darryl |

Re: Maximum Automatic Delay Compensation?
Correct. When you run the TDM system, ADC is handled by the hardware, which is under the old limitation. When you run it natively, it's handled by the software, which has the new improved ADC features.
