Default Problem Installing Firmware with Stand Alone Drivers

I just pickup my 11R today and thought I'd install the latest firmware. Since I'm not using and don't have installed PT I installed the stand alone drivers for the 11R, 1.0.8 (x64) on my windows 7 64 system. No problems there. I hook up the 11R, turn it on and let it boot. Then when trying to run the firmware update 1.0.3 I get the message that the drivers are not installed which is odd to me since when I turn the 11R on it shows up under my devices. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks

click the grayed out Continue button anyway. Its a flaw in the updaters code on Windows 7 64 bit.

Benoni's exactly right. We fixed this issue in the ERXP update.

Thanks guys that worked.

On an unrelated topic, my instant notification didn't work for this topic even though it's turned on and shows as instant notification in my thread list. I had to look up my thread to see that you guys replied. Any ideas what I may have done wrong setting up my preferences?

I'm trying to find the right post - I did post this is another thread -sorry.

I ran the firmware updater (103) with pro tools running. PT was up but not in any playbock mode. Is this is a problem and if so how can I back it out and redo it. I have trouble with hearing the playback from PT but it may be a problem with my i/o settings as I also just put ddown the PTLE 805 update to allow for the 11R expansion pack - which I had downloaded prior to runnig the firmware update.

Mac - Snow Leopard 10.6.3 - LE 805 - Firmware 103

I dont understand what you are asking.

You have 1.0.3 but you want to downgrade?

You have the ERXP but you only have 1.0.3 installed?

You cant hear Pro Tools? Why?

You have what version of Pro Tools installed right now?

Close Pro Tools before updating your Eleven Rack, that is in the instructions document.

I ran the firmware updater (103) with pro tools running and I applied PTLE 805 prior. Now - I don't know if it is the I/O settings or what - but I cannot hear playback. I cannot route the output to my rosetta. If I am on 'record' mode - I can hear output but on track playback - nothing. Not sure if it is related to the firmware update or the PTLE805 update - and not sure how to set the I/O settings or if that is even what my problem is.
