Default Any know Issues w Mbox and 10.3.2?

My appologies for posting twice on the same topic, but I'm desperate to get my ProTools system up and running ASAP, and the Digi Tech Support line was sooo buisy all day that they wouldn't even put me on hold...

What is happening:

There is no audible white noise from the Mbox when I restart my Powerbook. (normal)

Then I get abnormaly high level of background white noise when I start ProTools (not normal)

When playing back a project, all the tracks sound like radio static, whever the playhead passes an audio region (very disturbing).

I've followed the common trouble shooting steps suggested here, and the updated the firmware to 2.0, my OS to 10.3.2, uninstalling, then reinstalling ProTools 6.2.2. Still the same problem, even when all my USB devices are unplugged.

Are there any known extension conflicts with ProTools (or is this only an OS9 thing).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

thanks,
Paul

I'm pluggin it in before I boot. I actualy solved this one. I have to sometime switch my clock source from internal, to external, then back to internal. Seems to fix whatever is wrong.

You need to plug in the mBox after you boot. It's a feature :>
Or if you like -you can continue to toggle the clock source -reminds me of the original 882's. I guess some features just keep popping up....
