SYNC I/O Serial Port & Com Port
I think I've posted this topic before but would like to give it a try again.
When using the Machine Control option, it seems to be that the Computer Com Port is not supported, or at least is not stable. I go into Setup/Peripherals - Machine Control TAB. When I use the Computer Com1 Port, I select Com1 - SONY 9pin - then it would totally freeze on me when I try to select a deck profile. Sometimes it would let me choose a deck, but if I ever have to go back in again to select another deck, it would freeze as soon as I click on the deck drop down list. Everything is fine if I use the Serial port 1 on the SYNC I/O. I can keep on with my work, but something just makes me want to find out why it doesn't work on the Computer Com port. DIGI, is this a BUG? Will it be fixed in future updates? I'm on a certified IBM Intellistation Z Pro 6221. Dual 3.06Ghz/1GB of RAM. Tomio |
