Default Aes 2012

I downloaded a cool iPhone app for AES 2012. It lists all of the companies that will be attending etc. Avid is not listed. What's up?

Not listed yet? They have to be there. An AES without Avid is not an AES...

Hmm. Can we get an official confirmation that Avid will (or won't) be at AES please?

It's odd that in the "Events" page other events are specifically listed, but not AES SF.

Someone from AVID will be there. Here is a shameless plug for a session I am chairing titled Troubleshooting Software Issues which has a participant from AVID.

I wonder if PT11 will be announced?

LOL I'm not holding my breath. IMHO, without it, they may as well not be there!

AVID was one of the major sponsors of this event although they didn't attend.
Most major plug-in companies including Waves were not present.
All I can say it is that this was the most boring AES I have ever attended.
It is a small one with just about NO innovative product from any of the participants...
